After almost causing an accident on Hwy. 17, man charged with impaired

A 50-year-old Sudbury man is facing several impaired driving-related charges after being stopped by the OPP June 14. The OPP received a complaint of a vehicle that had almost caused a collision while driving east on Highway 17.

A 50-year-old Sudbury man is facing several impaired driving-related charges after being stopped by the OPP June 14.

The OPP received a complaint of a vehicle that had almost caused a collision while driving east on Highway 17.

Officers caught up with the pickup truck as it was exiting the highway at Long Lake Road.

The suspect has been charged with driving while impaired, over 80 and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
