Missing Sudbury girl has been found: police

Update 2: Sydney Whyte-Courtamanche has been located, Greater Sudbury Police announced Sunday evening. The youth had been missing since Friday night. No other details were made available.

Sydney Whyte-Courtamanche has been located, Greater Sudbury Police announced Sunday evening. The youth had been missing since Friday night. No other details were made available.

Greater Sudbury Police have released three pictures of Sydney Whyte-Courtemanche, who has been missing since Friday night.  

 

"Both her family and police are concerned about her safety and urge anyone that has had contact with her to contact Greater Sudbury Police," said a news release issued late Saturday evening.

Greater Sudbury Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing female youth.

Sydney Whyte-Courtemanche, 13 years, was last seen on Beatty Street on Friday night at about 8 pm. She is described as being 4-foot-8 and 90 to 100 pounds with long brown hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing pink pants, dark blue or black hoody and brown shoes.

It is believe she walked to the downtown area. No photo was released by police.
