Video: 58-year-old woman killed in pedestrian collision

All roadways that had been closed as a result of this collision are now reopened, as the Greater Sudbury Police's Traffic Management Unit has concluded its initial investigation, police said in a press release issued at 8:25 p.m. Sept. 30.

A 58-year-old woman died this afternoon following a collision with a grader on Elgin Street in the city's downtown core.

The woman was a pedestrian. She was killed in the intersection of Elgin and Beech streets.

Members of the Traffic Management Unit are investigating.

The area will remain closed until further notice.

The name of the deceased has not been released.
