Cutler Lake Rd. break-in suspects facing multiple charges

Officers from the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter incident at around 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at a property situated on Cutler Lake Road, in the Townships of Sables-Spanish River.

Officers from the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter incident at around 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at a property situated on Cutler Lake Road, in the Townships of Sables-Spanish River.

As a result of the investigation, police located and arrested two individuals for the break and enter. Property from the break and enter was recovered and drugs seized as a result of the arrests.

A 35-year-old man from Webbwood, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

-Driving While Disqualified, contrary to the Criminal Code
-Break, Enter a Dwelling House with the Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence, contrary to the Criminal Code
-Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.00, contrary to the Criminal Code
-Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, contrary to the Criminal Code.
-Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Obtained by Crime, contrary to the Criminal Code
-Possession of a Controlled Substance, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)

He will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, on Nov. 3 to answer to his charges.

A 42 year-old man from Webbwood, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

-Break, Enter a Dwelling House Commit an Indictable Offence, contrary to the Criminal Code
-Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.00, contrary to the Criminal Code
-Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, contrary to the Criminal Code
-Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Obtained by Crime, contrary to the Criminal Code
-Possession of a Controlled Substance, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)

He is being held in custody pending a court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on Oct. 1.
