OPP impound man's vehicle after stunt-driving stop

A 29-year-old man from Quebec was caught stunt driving, after he was observed by OPP on general patrol travelling at a high rate of speed on Hwy. 17 on Oct. 3. At approximately 11:55 p.m.

A 29-year-old man from Quebec was caught stunt driving, after he was observed by OPP on general patrol travelling at a high rate of speed on Hwy. 17 on Oct. 3.

At approximately 11:55 p.m., Sudbury OPP obeserved a westbound car was observed the vehicle moving at high rate of speed and as a result was stopped for stunt driving.

The driver, a 29-year-old man from Saint-Hubert, Quebec, was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. 

The man's Quebec Drivers Licence has been suspended for seven days and the vehicle he was operating was also seized and impounded for seven days. 

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on Nov. 30, 2015.
