Melvin Street murder suspect's name released

Greater Sudbury Police have released the name of the man accused of second degree murder in the death of 51-year-old Marcel Couillard. Reginald Berard, 23, has been charged with second degree murder and breach of probation.

Greater Sudbury Police have released the name of the man accused of second degree murder in the death of 51-year-old Marcel Couillard.

Reginald Berard, 23, has been charged with second degree murder and breach of probation. He's scheduled to appear in court Nov. 19.

Police responded to an incident at an apartment on Melvin Street at around 8 p.m. on Nov. 3. Couillard was pronounced dead a short time later.
