Yes, you still need a licence to drive a car

The Sudbury OPP charged a 50-year-old man from Sudbury after he was pulled over on Jan. 28 and it was discovered he was unlicensed.

At around 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 28 at members of the Sudbury OPP initiated a traffic stop on Highway 69, in the City of Greater Sudbury.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that the male driver didn't have a driver's licence and had the wrong validation tag affixed to his vehicle.

He was charged with driving without a licence and using validation not furnished for vehicle.

The vehicle being operated by the accused was also towed to a local impound.
