On Jan. 30, members of the Espanola (OPP) were conducting radar enforcement on Highway 17, in Lorne Township, in the City of Greater Sudbury.

At around 12:10 a.m., officers observed a westbound vehicle appearing to be approaching at a high rate of speed and initiated a traffic stop.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged the male driver.

The driver was charged with drive while disqualified, driving while under suspension, and speeding.

The man's vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days as per the vehicle impoundment program.

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, on March 15 to answer to his charges.
