Greater Sudbury Police arrested a 56-year-old Sudbury man for possession of child pornography on Feb. 3.
The arrest came as a result of an investigation that ran from October 2015 through January 2016. The Sudbury resident was observed in possession of child pornography on a file sharing network.
On Feb. 3 a warrant was issued at a Greater Sudbury residence, where a computer was seized from the residence that contained child pornography. The police also seized a quantity of marijuana.
A 56-year-old Sudbury man has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of access child pornography and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
