Suspect wielding edged weapon robs Lasalle Kwik Way

A convenience store on Lasalle Boulevard was robbed last night. At around 10:30 p.m. Feb. 8, a man entered the Kwik Way on Lasalle. He produced an edged weapon and demanded money from one of the store's employees.

A convenience store on Lasalle Boulevard was robbed last night.

At around 10:30 p.m. Feb. 8, a man entered the Kwik Way on Lasalle. He produced an edged weapon and demanded money from one of the store's employees.

After being given the money, he fled the store to a waiting vehicle, and left the area. The employee was not injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as short and skinny and wearing a grey hoodie and grey pants.
