Sudbury hosts Ontario Winter Games

The Ontario Winter Games brought around 3,300 athletes from across the province to Sudbury and Muskoka March 4-7.

Sudbury hosted competitions in bowling, diving, speed skating and squash in various venues across the city.

The Ontario Winter Games is a unique multi-sport event that provides young athletes with development and competitive opportunities that prepare them for national and international competitions.

The pool at Laurentian University was the site of diving competitions on Friday.

The Countryside Arena hosted athletes competing in short track speed skating from across the province on Friday.
