The 2010 Sudbury Fitness Challenge Mountain Bike Tour is less than a month away and registrations are now being accepted.

The event will take place Aug. 15 at the Naughton Trails, and will be hosted by the Walden Mountain Bike Club and the Wolfpak Racing Team.

There are races and distances for all abilities, including a recreational 16-kilometre race, an eight-kilometre children’s race, and an advanced 32-kilometre race, featuring the course used for the Ontario Summer Games.

Registration forms can be picked up at Pinnacle Sports, Demarco’s Source for Sports and online at www.waldenmbc.ca. The forms must be dropped off at Pinnacle Sports or mailed to the club office address on the form by Aug. 12. There will be no entries accepted on race day.

The event will include awards, music, prizes and a barbecue put on by Pappa Joe’s Chipstand.
