Canadian ultimate frisbee players in 24 locations across the country participated in the Great Canadian Ultimate Game on July 17. This frisbee game was played over 24 hours from coast to coast, with teams competing for charity.

With the score moving from city to city, the white team, representing the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, narrowly defeated the red team, representing Right to Play, by a final score of 253-251.

When the score arrived in Sudbury at 5 p.m., it was tied 138-138. About 30 local players gathered at Lockerby Composite School to raise money and play some spirited ultimate. After our hour was up, the score had moved to 149-145 for the white team, before passing the score along. The Sudbury  ultimate club contributed more than $600 to the charities.
