When the kids head back to school, it's a perfect time for adults to head back to fitness training, according to one city trainer.

Sammie Kennedy, the creator and CEO of Booty Camp Fitness, said in a press release that while people work hard to get in shape for summer, "between the patios, barbecues, and parties, somewhere along the line we lose that goal."

The structured routine of fall and school means it is easier for people to get back into a fitness routine, she said.

Booty Camp Fitness tries to combat some of the reasons why long-term fitness plans fall to the side, she noted. Lack of time, motivation, the financial commitment of a gym membership and lack of results can deter people.

The fitness camps can schedule around a person's calendar, don't require a contract, offer group-fitness as a way to remain motivated, and offers certified fitness professionals.
