The Sudbury Wolves announced two more player transactions Sept. 7 involving the Oshawa Generals and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.

The Wolves dealt the rights to 18-year-old rearguard Nick Quinn to the Oshawa Generals in return for future considerations. Should Quinn report to Oshawa this season, the Wolves will receive a second-round draft selection in 2011.

Quinn was drafted in the second round of the 2008 OHL Entry draft by the Wolves. The Toronto native played junior hockey in Orangeville last season with the Crushers.

In another move, the Wolves acquired the rights to 6-2, 187-lb Mississauga Majors goaltender Alexander Laino in return for future considerations. Laino, 18, played exhibition games for the Majors last season and was vying for a starting position with the Majors this season before being acquired by the Wolves.

The Sudbury native will join his new teammates at practice this week and provides added competition for the open goaltending position with the Wolves.
