Sudbury's Tessa Bonhomme, a member of the Canadian women's Olympic gold-medal hockey team at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, is sharing her Olympic experience through a scrapbook-style calendar for 2011.

“The Time of My Life – A Scrapbook Journey with Tessa Bonhomme” 2011 Limited Edition Calendars will be sold for $20 each, with 100 per cent of the calendar proceeds donated to the Sudbury Run Site of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.

Bonhomme has a personal connection with breast cancer, according to a press release. Seeing her grandmother, Silvia Zinn, battle breast cancer was difficult, and she said she hopes her efforts can make the battle easier for some and prevent the disease from happening to others.

Only 1,000 calendars will be available for sale. A table will be set up Sept. 11 in the New Sudbury Centre, near the customer service kiosk, beginning at 9 a.m. Bonhomme, along with Team Canada teammate Jayna Hefford will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. signing copies of the calendar.
