Laurentian University's Lady Vees and Voyageurs will lace up and take to the home field this weekend against the Ryerson Rams and U of T Varsity Blues.

The Lady Vees will face the Rams first on Sept. 4 at noon, followed by the Voyageurs at 2:15 p.m.

The Lady Vees and the Voyageurs are looking to increase its sixth and fourth place finishes last season.

"We have lots of depth this year which will allow for more flexibility on the field," Rob Gallo, Lady Vees head coach, said
in a press release. "Many players can play in more than one position, allowing for dynamic play within the system. Both teams this weekend will present a solid test for our team. If our defense can keep things tight we can make both days very
interesting."

The U of T Varsity Blues women's and men's team take the field on Sunday, Sept. 5. The women face off first at noon, then the men at 2:15 p.m.

"This weekend will be a tough test from the start facing quality opponents in Ryerson and U of T," Carlo Castrechino, Voyageurs head coach, said in a press release. "Both teams are skilled and have a lot of talent with U of T possibly the best
team in the division. It will be a tough test from the start but after this weekend it will be a good indication of where we are at."

Both games take place at the Laurentian soccer field.
