Wolfpak racers pedal their way to the top The Walden Mountain Bike Club Wolfpak Racing team sent seven racers to the provincial mountain bike championships event, held at Highlands Nordic Centre in Collingwood, on Sunday. The Wolfpak capped off a brilliant season with all racers finishing 13th or better in their races, a press release stated.

Angela Keefe completed the season with her seventh straight appearance on the podium with a second place finish in the master sport women 30-39 category. Alex Anstice finished in the top five again with a third place finish in the senior expert division. Dominic Girard finish fifth and Daniel Hill came in ninth in the junior expert field. Greg Edgar was second and Paul Gunette was seventh in the senior sport male group. Roger Girard also had a 13th place result in the master sport male 40-44 race.

In the overall season standings, Keefe and Anstice both finished second, while Dominic Girard took fourth. The Ontario Cup Mountain Bike Series takes the best five of seven results to compile the final standings. All of the Wolfpak racing members finished in the top 25 for the year.
