The Sudbury Disc Golf Club is hosting its inaugural winter disc golf tournament — the Sud-BRRR!!-y Ice Bowl.

This is a charity event, with all proceeds going to the Sudbury Food Bank.

The event takes place Jan. 28 at the Lions Club of Sudbury Disc Golf Course in Selkirk Park and will not be cancelled under any weather-related circumstances. The tournament runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the entry fee is $10, plus a non-perishable food item.

Everybody is invited to participate. Previous experience at disc golf is not required and discs will be available for use during the event. The public is also invited to come out and watch the action.
