The Sudbury Wolves will be missing some players this weekend due to injuries which means that players will be called up to fill the holes. Wolves’ third round draft selection Danny Desrochers will be called up this weekend and will play Friday night against the Soo Greyhounds.

Desrochers is also scheduled to play in Peterborough on Saturday before being returned to the North Bay Trappers Jr. A team on Sunday. The 16-year-old forward sits in third place in team scoring with the Trappers with 33 points in 33 games.

The Wolves will also be looking to call-up Brett Dusick from the Sudbury Cubs Jr. A team this weekend. The 18-year-old rearguard can also play forward and played quite well in his first two appearances in the OHL last weekend, according to a press release.

The Sudbury native leads the Cubs in penalty minutes with 105 in 38 league games. Dusick played for the Manitoulin Islanders Jr. A team last year as a 17-year-old rookie in the NOJHL.

Wolves’ players expected to miss this weekend’s games include:
Mathew Campagna (week-to-week)
Brody Silk  (serving league suspension. Returns Feb. 17 in game versus Niagara)
Michael MacDonald (indefinite)
Alex Racino – (indefinite)
Jeff Corbett – (week to week)
Chad Thibodeau – (day to day)
