Local figure competitor Jessica MacMillan-Falls recently competed in Ancaster in the second annual Henderson Thorne Classic, an all-natural Ontario qualifier, bodybuilding/figure championship sanctioned by the Ontario Physique Association (OPA).

The Val Caron woman placed first in the Figure Short Category and captured the Overall Figure first place title.

This win, along with many other top five finishes this year, has qualified MacMillan-Falls to compete on both the provincial and national Stages with the OPA and the Canadian Body Building Federation (CBBF) in the upcoming months.

After finishing first in Figure Short at the Sudbury Classic Championships in 2009, MacMillan-Falls stepped back on to the competitive stage this year with coaching and guidance from Sudbury’s own IFBB Figure Pro Aleisha Hart. With the support of her coach, friends, and family, she continues working hard preparing to compete for various national titles, according to a press release.
