The Sudbury Wolves closed out their pre-season schedule on the weekend finishing with a 2-2 record. The slate will be wiped clean on Friday as the Wolves open up their 2012-13 regular season at home when they face the Oshawa Generals at 7:35 p.m.

The Wolves will face a star-studded offensive attack when they host the Gens as they boast three highly touted NHL Draft picks up front, including: Scott Laughton (2012 first round, Philadelphia Flyers), Boone Jenner (2011 second round, Columbus Bluejackets) , and Lucas Lessio ( 2011 second round, Phoenix Coyotes).

Jenner and Lessio also competed for Team Canada in August and were successful in helping Canada win the first ever Canada-Russia Challenge in overtime. The Generals lineup will also feature 2012 first-round selection, 6-2 center Michael Dal Colle.

Prior to the game, the Wolves will share their golden moment in Russia this summer with their fans. They will send their championship banner to the rafters to immortalize their triumph of the World Junior Club Cup. The Wolves defeated the Waterloo Blackhawks 2-0 to capture the title for Team Canada. Fans attending the game will also have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the trophy at the game.

The Wolves return to the ice on Sunday as they look to avenge their first-round defeat when they host the Brampton Battalion for a 2:05 p.m contest. The game is the Wolves' premiere Kids Day + Jersey Day + Student Day. Any youngster, under the age of 12, who is accompanied by an adult or wearing a minor hockey jersey, and all students with a valid high school or post-secondary student card, will be admitted to the game for $5.

Tickets for the game can be purchased at the Sudbury Arena Box Office or by phoning 705-671-3000.
