Wolves continue to wage war on the road

After a winless three-game stint on the road over the weekend, the Sudbury Wolves are looking to get back into the win column when they take to the road Oct. 4 to face off against the Peterborough Petes at the Memorial Centre. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. 

The Petes will also be looking to get back into the win column on Thursday as they dropped back-to-back 5-1 contests on the weekend at the hands of the Erie Otters and Oshawa Generals. The Petes' record currently stands at 1-3-0-0.

On Saturday, the Wolves will continue their Eastern road swing when they face off against the undefeated Kingston Frontenacs. The Frontenacs enter the weekend with an impressive 3-0-0-0 record. The contest will mark Sudbury’s first time facing former Nickel Capital Wolves star Ryan Kujawinski this season. Kujawinski is off to a hot start this season and was named last weeks OHL Player of the Week. He recorded five points in two games, scoring twice while adding three assists. He also recorded a plus-minus rating of +2.

The Wolves will conclude their long six-game road trip on Sunday when the face off against the Ottawa 67’s at the Scotia Bank Place. The 67’s enter Sunday’s contest with a 2-2-0-0 record.

The Wolves will be back in action at home Oct. 12 when they face off against the Saginaw Spirit at 7:35 p.m.
