Laurentian University powerhouse Carling Zeeman is continuing to dominate the Canadian University rowing scene.

The fourth-year Outdoor Adventure Leadership student defended her national championship heavyweight single title on the weekend, cruising to victory by a margin of 17 seconds.

Her success earned her the title of Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Athlete of the Week for the period ending Nov. 4.

Zeeman is back on the water this week when she heads to Victoria, B.C. to compete in the RBC National Rowing Championships.
