The Sudbury Wolves road skid was pushed to seven games over the weekend as the Sudbury squad fell to both the London Knights and the Sarnia Sting.

On Friday night, the defending OHL champions dropped the Wolves 4-1 in London. Brody Silk broke Knights' goaltender Jake Patterson's shut-out bid with a goal midway through the third frame. Joel Vienneau took the loss in goal for the Wolves.

On Sunday afternoon, the Wolves put up a solid fight against one of the hottest teams in the league, but narrowly missed a point on the road with a 3-2 loss to the Sting. Michael Kantor gave the Wolves the lead early in the first on a power play goal, however, Sarnia tied the game moments later. Just over a minute later, Josh Leivo scored his 11th goal of the season, giving the Wolves another short-lived lead before the Sting evened the score at 2-2 heading into the first intermission.

The Sting broke the tie on a power play in the third with the eventual game-winner. Vienneau was once again tagged with the loss in net for the Wolves.

The Wolves will have a chance to avenge the loss when the Sting make a return visit to Sudbury on Nov. 16.  The Wolves will play the Brampton Battalion on a rare Wednesday night game Nov. 14. Both games start at 7:35 p.m.

The Wolves will welcome hundreds of fans from North Bay that will be in attendance at Wednesday's game to show their support for transferring the Brampton franchise to North Bay at the end of the season.
