Boots and chaps and cowboy hats are returning to Greater Sudbury.

On June 22, some of the continent's finest rodeo athletes, both two- and four-legged, will be competing for qualifying spots at the International Professional Rodeo Finals.

Belanger Farms in Azilda, located at 434 Montee Principale, is once again hosting the event.

“We are truly excited about our 2013 season,” said BJ Prince, general director of the Rawhide Rodeo Company. “And based on the advance enthusiasm and our star-studded roster, spectators are in for a very competitive and exciting event.”

On top of traditional rodeo events like bull riding and rodeo antics like clowns and cowgirls, the 2013 show will also feature a demonstration from freestyle motocross “legend” Jordan Szoke.

Once again, show goers can expect to not only enjoy the show, but also support the Greater Sudbury Volunteer Firefighters Group charities of choice, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, The Sudbury Manitoulin Children's Foundation and Camp Quality.

Tickets to the show are now available by phoning 1-866-517-6336.
