The Sudbury Wolves return from Christmas holidays Dec. 28 to take on their northern rivals, the North Bay Battalion.

Prior to the Christmas break, the Wolves extended their winning streak to eight games by sending the Battalion packing 1-0 in overtime.

North Bay features former Wolves' goaltender Brendan O'Neill. The London native has enjoyed a solid season so far in North Bay. Battalion captain Barclay Goodrow heads into the game with 20 goals on the season.

Despite Goodrow's scoring punch, the Wolves lead the season series two games to one.

Saturday’s game is sponsored by Tim Hortons, and staff will be on hand to offer Cheer Stixs, row prizes and promotions throughout Saturday's game. Stay in your seats during the second intermission to cheer on the youngsters in the Tim Hortons Timbits Tyke Mini game.

Northern Life will also be on hand to announce the winner of our goalie mask contest and present the winner with the top prize — the mask they themselves designed — during the first intermission.

Tickets for the game are available at the Sudbury Arena box office or by calling 705-671-3000.
