Early in the season, the Wolves were running and gunning with teams.

There has been an undeniable change on the ice and in the dressing room over the course of the last month-and-a-half. The players themselves say they have become a real team since late November.

The recent nine-game winning streak helped solidify the overall team bond. Captain Kevin Raine is most impressed with how every player has accepted roles for the betterment of the team on the ice.

“There is no doubt we are a tight team on and off the ice,” Raine said. “This team is one of the tightest together teams I have ever played for.”

The coaching staff has also noticed a difference.

“They are a tight-knit group,” Fixter said. “When you win, you become tighter. We have great leaders. It starts with leadership and we have good leaders who take charge of the room.”
