The Sudbury Wolves congratulated team captain Kevin Raine this afternoon on being invited to play for the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League.

Raine is expected to join the team on April 1 and will be in their lineup when the Pirates play the Worcester Sharks tomorrow night in Worcester.

The Pirates are the affiliate team of the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL. The Wolves also wished Raine all the best in pursuit of an NHL contract.
