Chaput cleans up at Amerikick Internationals

Chaput, 13, was the only member from the club to participate. The Grade 8 student at Ecole Ste-Marie in Azilda said he is most proud of the first place win in the traditional kata NASKA division. NASKA is the North American Sport Karate Association.

Chaput will now attend the Southern Qualifier in London, Ont., this weekend, as well as the Quebec Open and Karate Ontario Grand Prix in Brampton, both events take place at the end of the month.
