The second annual Arnie's Tourney Golf event to raise funds for the Justin Arnold Memorial Scholarship at Laurentian University hits the links at Timberwolf on July 25.

The event begins with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. and wraps up with a 19th hole reception, steak dinner, awards presentations and auction.

The Justin Arnold Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Justin Arnold, a sports enthusiast who enjoyed the social and competitive aspects of golf. An active member of the commerce program at Laurentian University, he also aspired to one day own his own business.

“The scholarship is a great opportunity to honour commerce students who display creativity, a sense of entrepreneurship and a strong desire to succeed,” said Marissa Arnold, Justin's sister and tournament co-ordinator. “Plus, the tournament is the perfect way for our family, friends and members of the community to come together to honour my brother. He would be so proud.”
