Laurentian Nordic Ski Club is holding its annual ski swap at the Adanac Ski Chalet this weekend.

This is a volunteer-run fundraiser for the ski club as well as an opportunity for cross-country skiers to prepare for the upcoming season. There will be used equipment and local retailers, as well as knowledgeable people, to help make sure you are getting the proper equipment.

This year, the club will also have binding mounting and waxing services available on site.

Anyone looking to drop off used equipment can do so any time after 4 p.m. on Oct. 17. A portion of the sales will support Laurentian Nordic Ski Club. The Club is also accepting all newer binding systems and boots.

Curious about trying out cross-country skiing, stop by the Adanac Ski Chalet this weekend to learn more.

The chalet is open Oct. 17 from 5-9 p.m. and Oct. 18 from 9a.m. to 5 p.m.

For more information, contact the Laurentian Nordic Ski Club at 705-988-3035.
