Alouettes claim Junior I girls basketball championship

The Collège Notre-Dame Alouettes pursued their dominance in the Sudbury District Junior Girls Division I circuit Nov. 8 by winning the Sudbury District final by a score of 42-34 over the Lo-Ellen Park Knights.

The Collège Notre-Dame Alouettes pursued their dominance in the Sudbury District Junior Girls Division I circuit Nov. 8 by winning the Sudbury District final by a score of 42-34 over the Lo-Ellen Park Knights.

During the regular season, the Alouettes maintained a perfect record of 10 wins in 10 games and also won convincingly the Franco-Ontarian Junior Girls Tournament. The Alouettes will represent the Sudbury District at the upcoming Northern Ontario Secondary School Athletics Association (NOSSA) championship in North Bay.
