Sudburians invited to breakfast with Ron MacLean

The Laurentian Voyageurs hockey program is playing host to breakfast with Ron MacLean. Sudbury is the ninth stop on Ron’s “Hometown Hockey” tour, and he is making it a stop to remember.

The Laurentian Voyageurs hockey program is playing host to breakfast with Ron MacLean.


Sudbury is the ninth stop on Ron’s “Hometown Hockey” tour, and he is making it a stop to remember.

Join in the fun as the former Hockey Night in Canada host shares stories, humour, and insights from the world of sports. From entertaining anecdotes of experiences with Don Cherry, to going behind the scenes at the Olympic Games, the nine-time Gemini Award winner will not disappoint, said a news release from LU.

MacLean brings experience, knowledge and passion for the game of hockey to the forefront as he shares more than 25 years of unbelievable sports moments. As a journalist who has witnessed, first hand, some of the most memorable Canadian sports milestones in history, this is a presentation you do not want to miss.

Breakfast takes place Monday, Dec. 8 from 8:30-10 a.m. at the Holiday Inn. Tickets are $75 each, or reserve a table of eight for $500. There are only 240 seats available. To order your tickets, contact Bryan in the Voyageurs Athletic Office at 705-675-1151 ext. 1025.
