Young Samurai

Bradley Chaput and Marissa Meandro, black belts and Juliana Meandro brown belt, all from Benoits Martial Arts, participated in the 14th Annual Samurai Classic Ontario Open Martial Arts Tournament on Nov. 8. The competition was held in Missassagua. Bradley won a first in weapons and a second in kata. Juliana won first in kata, second in kumite and fifth in weapons. Marissa won a second in kata and a third in weapons. The three athletes are part of team NMAC and are training for their next tournament this coming weekend, the Tournament of Champions.
