Alouettes celebrate slam-dunk basketball season

The girls’ junior squad from Collège Notre-Dame in Sudbury recently wrapped up a banner-filled season. The Alouettes were dominant at the local, Ontarian and Franco-Ontarian levels.

The girls’ junior squad from Collège Notre-Dame in Sudbury recently wrapped up a banner-filled season.

The Alouettes were dominant at the local, Ontarian and Franco-Ontarian levels.

The Alouettes had an outstanding record of 27 victories and only two losses over the course of the season, which included tournaments and league games. The Alouettes won the Franco-Ontarian Division A Tournament, the Sudbury District Secondary School championship (SDSSAA, the Northern Ontario Secondary School Championship (NOSSA) AA and the Canstars Tournament.

The Alouettes also claimed the silver medal as the Newmarket Tournament.
