There was little pity for the goalies as Division II boys high school hockey action continued Monday evening at the Carmichael Arena.

Landon Morin drilled a hat trick and Alex Prevost and Jackson Linklater added two goals apiece as the Espanola Spartans quadrupled the Horizon Aigles 8-2.

Nick Bourguignon rounded out the scoring for the winners, with Colin Prevost and Xavier Taillefer replying in a losing cause for the Aigles.

In a more back-and-forth affair, the Lo-Ellen Park Knights outscored the St. Benedict Bears 3-1 in the third period, paving the way for an 8-6 win.

Nick Zacharuk exploded with a four-goal performance for the Knights, while Eric Mullin-Belanger, Noah Skuce, Parker Camirand and Brandon Durocher found the back of the net once each.

Ryan Phillips scored the final two goals of the game for the Bears, joined on the scoresheet by Connor Vande Weghe, Anthony Zanetti, Josh Duckett and Alex Yeomans.
