Wolves hosting the Colts before hitting the road

The Sudbury Wolves are back in action at Sudbury Arena on Jan. 28, when they host their divisional rivals, the Barrie Colts at 7 p.m.

The Wolves will be rested and ready to go as they get set to face Colts’ leading scorer Joseph Blandisi and the rest of the Barrie squad. The 6-0 centre was recently signed as a free agent with the New Jersey Devils and currently has 74 points this season. The Colts currently lead the Central division with 56 points.

Petryna Advertising sponsors Wednesday’s game, and fans will have the chance to win one of two $50 bills hidden in the PETRYNA T-shirt toss. Fans are encouraged to bring their smart devices for the chance to win exciting prizes in a Petryna Social Media contest.

The Wolves return to action on Friday night hosting the Mississauga Steelheads at 7:30 p.m. The Steelheads are led on the back end by former Wolf Stefan Leblanc and highly touted 2016 NHL Draft prospect Sean Day. The Steelheads currently sit eighth in the Eastern Conference and are in a playoff battle with the Kingston Frontenacs and Peterborough Petes.

Friday’s game is sponsored by the New HOT 93.5. On-air personalities G-Rant and Sherry K will be on hand with prizes and giveaways for lucky fans throughout the game.

The Wolves hit the road Saturday to visit the Owen Sound Attack at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Game time is at 7:30 p.m. Fans can follow the Wolves on the road by tuning into KFM 95.5 for the live play-by-play with Stew Kernan and Mike Poirier.
