Wolves kick off final home stand Tuesday

The Sudbury Wolves kick off their final home stand of the 2014-15 season Tuesday night as they host the Niagara IceDogs for the final time. This is the first of four remaining home games.

The Sudbury Wolves kick off their final home stand of the 2014-15 season Tuesday night as they host the Niagara IceDogs for the final time.

This is the first of four remaining home games. The IceDogs' lineup features Arizona Coyotes prospect Brendan Perlini and Toronto Maple Leaf prospect Carter Verhaeghe, who leads the IceDogs offensively with 72 points in 59 games. The high-flying IceDogs sit fifth in the Eastern Conference and have been playing excellent hockey as of late.

Tuesday’s game is sponsored by Desjardins Insurance. Desjardins Insurance will be on hand with prizes and giveaways for lucky fans who show their Desjardins credit and debit cards. Don’t miss the puzzle challenge in the second intermission.
Game time is 7 p.m.

The Wolves continue their busy week on Friday night when they host the Belleville Bulls at 7:30 p.m. The Bulls lineup features defenceman Jordan Subban, who leads the league in goals by a defenceman with 24 goals. Subban is a prospect of the Vancouver Canucks and leads the Bulls offensively this season.

Friday’s game is sponsored by Laking Toyota.

It’s a double header weekend as the Wolves host their Northern rivals, the North Bay Battalion Saturday night at 7 p.m.

It’s the return of the annual Vale Sudbury Saturday Night, where the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive their Vale Fire and Ice hockey cards. Stay in seats during the first intermission as Vale makes a community investment announcement and cheque presentation.
