The cross-country hockey tour comes to a close this Sunday, and The Sudbury Lady Hurricanes cheer will be among the 25 finalists to win best cheer in Canada.

Live voting commences after 7 p.m. on Mar. 29 when the last winner is announced at the festival stop in Lethbridge, Alta.

Sudbury can show their community support by voting on the Hometown Hockey website, hometownhockey.com. Votes can be cast up until midnight April 4.

The winners will be chosen to represent their city on a national level and the winning team will be announced at the final Hometown Hockey event in Kanata on April 5.
