Capobianco lacing up for Canada at U18 World Championships

Sudbury Wolves defenceman Kyle Capobianco will be part of Canada's National Men's Under-18 team for the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championships. The championships take place April 16-26 in Zug and Lucerne, Switzerland.

Sudbury Wolves defenceman Kyle Capobianco will be part of Canada's National Men's Under-18 team for the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championships.

The championships take place April 16-26 in Zug and Lucerne, Switzerland.

Joining Capobianco on the defensive end will be Ethan Bear (Seattle Thunderbirds), Guillaume Brisebois (Acadie-Bathurst Titan), Thomas Chabot (Saint John Sea Dogs), Jeremy Roy (Sherbrooke Phoenix), Matthew Spencer (Peterborough Petes) and Parker Wotherspoon (Tri-City Americans).

Forwards include Mathew Barzal (Seattle Thunderbirds), Anthony Beauvillier (Shawinigan Cataractes), Glenn Gawdin (Swift Current Broncos), Jansen Harkins (Prince George Cougars), Nathan Noel (Saint John Sea Dogs), Nicolas Roy (Chicoutimi Sagueneens), Deven Sideroff (Kamloops Blazers) and Mitchell Stephens (Saginaw Spirit).

Goaltenders will be Evan Cormier (Saginaw Spirit) and Zachary Sawchenko (Moose Jaw Warriors).

Canada will face off against Latvia on April 16, Switzerland on April 18, Czech Republic on April 19 and Finland on April 21.

Quarter-finals begin April 23.
