Unfortunately, the high school outdoor season has been delayed by one week, as city officials deal with some issues in trying to ensure that the turf field at the James Jerome Sports Complex is suitable for spring usage.
Apparently, the level of frost in the ground is creating some problems in being able to clean the turf prior to allowing athletes on to the artificial surface.
