Competing at the 2015 Ontario Open Age Group Championships in Etobicoke, a competition that attracted 33 clubs from Ontario, Newfoundland, Alberta and the United States, the local synchronized swim team (13 to 15-year-olds) finished in the top third of the field in both of their events.

The Sudbury team, which advanced to the finals on Sunday following a very successful preliminary swim, placed in ninth in the "routine" section, and tenth in the "championship scores" provincially.

Coached by Chelsea Wandziak and Courtney Stasiuk, the local lineup featured Mya Duguay, Kamryn Butler, Katherine Caddel, Megan Sarmatiuk, Bronwyn Ashley, Stacie Kohan, Georgia Speck, Laurel Duguay, Emily Binks and Sarah Ieropoli.
