Medals galore for Sudbury MMA in Ottawa tourney

Members of Sudbury MMA travelled to the nation’s capital on June 20 for the Ottawa International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament.

Members of Sudbury MMA travelled to the nation’s capital on June 20 for the Ottawa International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament.

Medal winners included Peyton Goudreau (silver), Andrian Cecchetto (bronze), Kyle Fletcher (gold) and Kiersten Goudreau (silver). 
 
These young athletes, along with many others for Sudbury MMA, will also be competing in the Budo Open on July 25 at Cambrian College. The local martial arts school said the Budo is the largest jiu jitsu tournament in Northern Ontario.
