NHLers and cops collide at charity hockey game (7 photos)

Sometimes it's not so bad to have the cops chasing you. That was the case on Aug. 4 at Gerry McRory Sports Complex when a team of Greater Sudbury Police and O.P.P. officers took on a squad of NHL and OHL hockey players.

Sometimes it's not so bad to have the cops chasing you.

That was the case on Aug. 4 at Gerry McRory Sports Complex when a team of Greater Sudbury Police and O.P.P. officers took on a squad of NHL and OHL hockey players.

The game was a charity event to raise money for the Special Olympics torch run.

On hand were a handful of NHL players and Sudbury Wolves alumni. Among those on the ice in orange were Marcus Foligno, Derek McKenzie, Zack Stortini, and Andrew Desjardins.
