Fans of junior hockey in Chelmsford are in for a long weekend treat.

On Saturday night, alumni teams representing both the Rayside-Balfour Canadians, as well as the Rayside-Balfour Sabrecats, will do battle at the Chelmsford Arena.

Puck drop is scheduled for 8 p.m. with a $10 admission fee, which always includes a post-game social in the arena hall upstairs.

Among the "more experienced" alumni, who suited up with the Canadians in the 1970s or 1980s, are the likes of Denis Castonguay, Noel Caya, Coco Simon, Mike Doré and Mike Mooney.

Representing the still-youngish grouping are Justin and Michel Carré, Luc Messier, Jason Michelutti and Eric "Coco" Simon, with plenty of other familiar names rounding out the rosters for both sides.
