Three teams have yet to taste defeat as the SDSSAA Flag Football season winds down to the final two weeks of pre-playoff action.

In the Division "A" loop, the Marymount Regals bounced the Lively Hawks 27-14 back on Sept. 30, before posting a 27-0 whitewash on the Lo-Ellen Park Knights one week later, improving to 3-0 in the process.

Allison Byrnes paved the way for the win over the second place Hawks (2-1), reaching the end zone on three occasions, with Jordyn Brousseau contributing the remaining TD. Emily Taylor added three converts for the Regals, looking to lay claim to their fifth consecutive city crown.

Tatum Hurley handled all of the scoring for Lively, racking up a pair of touchdowns to go along with a two-point conversion.

In Division "B" play, both the St. Charles College Cardinals (4-0) and the Bishop Carter Gators (3-0) remain undefeated, with both having secured recent victories, and set for a head to head showdown on Thursday (Oct. 15) at 2 p.m.

The Cards defeated the Macdonald-Cartier Panthères 38-6 last Thursday, as quarterback Allison McLean connected with wide receiver Tayler Murphy on first quarter touchdown passes covering 63 and 91 yards, before eventually running in for three touchdowns of her own.

McLean also sailed a pair of point after attempts through the uprights, while Jaymie Rivais countered with the only TD of the game for Macdonald-Cartier, making their re-appearance in the SDSSAA flag football league for the first time in recent memory.

The Gators kept their perfect streak intact with a 41-7 win over the Panthères on Oct. 1, as Kianna Houben, Morgan Melnek and Emily Tilbury all enjoyed two-touchdown performances, with Melnek chipping in with an additional five points on conversions.

Robin Chmilar gave the Panthères something to cheer about, recording the team's first TD of the season, with Gabrielle Nellis making good on the extra point. The St. Benedict Bears chalked up their first win of the fall, besting the Horizon Aigles 28-20 in a back and forth affair.

St. Benedict pivot Julia Jodouin, well-known for her proficiency on the ball diamonds, displayed her noteworthy arm-strength versus the Aigles, connecting on touchdown passes to Millana Marcon (65 yds), Erica Bichel (50 yds) and Marcon again (59 yds), before Danielle Battistelli darted in for the final score.

Christine Kettle was four for four on point after attempts for the winners. Meanwhile, Josée Boudreau added a pair of majors to her season stats for Horizon, with Karly Poirier adding the remaining TD, and Chloe Coulombe helping out on a two-point convert.

Finally, in a matchup of perennial finalists from the past, the Collège Notre-Dame Alouettes outlasted the Lockerby Vikings 27-20, thanks in large part to three touchdowns from Natasha Borges. Danika Loiselle scored the remaining TD, while Josée Scott kicked three converts in the win.

Sara-Jo Santi (2) and Bianca Toppazzini found their way on the scoresheet with six point efforts for the Vikes, with Emma McDougall recording a two-point conversion. Action continues all week long, with afternoon games on the turf field at the James Jerome Sports Complex.
