ALEXANDER, Lillian (nee Gillis) - In loving memory of Lillian (nee Gillis) Alexander, 72 years, Thursday, December 6th, 2012 at the Bridge Point Health Center, Toronto. Cherished sister to Iris Deforge predeceased 2007. Loving aunt of Colinda Deforge and Brydon Deforge (wife Kimberley Stewart). Special great aunt to Jordan and Koral and great great aunt to Baron and Lincoln. Dear daughter of Don and Bea (Cayen) Gillis predeceased. Lovingly remembered by her friends Mauleen, Carla and Sue who were by her side when she passed. A special thank you to all the staff at St. Michael's Hospital and Bridge Point Health Center. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury, Saturday, December 15th, 2012 at 11:30 AM. Cremation with interment in the family plot at St. John's Cemetery, Garson. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. We have only just heard of Lillian's passing-so shocked and saddened that we have lost such a beautiful soul.She had lunch with us in Ottawa in Sept./11Regards to family(her niece whom we met in Barbados) Louise & Manny Soberal
So many fond memories. Lillian will be remembered as a loyal friend with a warm personality.
I'm so sorry. I remember her fondly.
Lil you will be missed. We'll cherish your friendship,your visits with us and ours in your Beautiful Barbados where we often watched the sunset and sometimes waited for the sun to rise.
