BRASSARD, Jeannine (née Roy) - The family announces with sorrow, her death, Friday, June 22, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Daughter of the late Basil Roy and the late Florestine Roy (née Chevrier). Loving mother of Hélène Moyle (late Lester) of Val Thérèse, Denis (Suzanne) and André (Claudette) both of Sudbury. Dear sister of Blanche Leroux (late Germain) of Chelmsford, Fernande Leblanc (late Gérard) of Burlington and Roger Roy (Alphonsine) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brother Sylvio Roy and her sisters Rhéa Marcotte and Auxilia Giroux. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Katherine Weiman (Mark), Chris Moyle (Janet), Natalie Jodouin (Gérard), André Brassard (Julie), 5 step grandchildren, many step great- grandchildren and her 11 great- grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
