Obituary

 CARTIER, Helen (née McColgan) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Monday, January 30th, 2012 at the age of 77 years. Daughter of the late Jack and Frances (nee Cosgrove) McColgan. Wife of the late Ron Cartier. Beloved mother of Kenneth, Randy and Scott. Predeceased by her daughter Susan Hazzard. Dear sister of Bud, Brian, Edward, Robert, Joseph William, Patricia Leggett and Mary Lou Lebel. Predeceased by her brother Kenneth. Sadly missed by her special niece and caregiver Jeannine Sloss. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Prior to her retiring, Helen dedicated over 30 years as a school teacher at Cambrian College. In keeping with Helen's wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated.
